Full Description
  • We supply an affordable solution for creative and colourful reception events, wedding breakfasts and parties. We have a large range of unique tents, marquees and equipment and a fresh approach to the challenge. We work with you to develop your style. We have hundreds of photographs of previous events that help and find that every event is almost totally different. Relax and get creative. We love you getting involved, sewing bunting, providing flags, choosing styles of furniture, creatingbamazingbtable dressings. It's really handy to chat lots and see a sketch of your ideas, how you would like it all to look, from the walk up first impressions to the interior. We have many styles of tent, colourful candy striped and cream canvas. The red and white ranges are very popular and create stunning events, whilst the different looking arched canvas tent we have satisfies the slightly more traditional look...but please don't get too traditional! Flouncy linings, chandeliers and cheesy discos are not our bag! They can fit up to 350 -400 guests at tables with plenty room for partying. The usual is around 100-250... Wow catering for guests beyond 200 is a big job! We have a range of drapes and fabrics and some delightful velvets reminiscent of vintage, Victoriana and theatre. Lighting is often a mix of fairy lights, festoon, lanterns and up lighting and we have some party lights and glitter balls of course. There's so much more we can help with but you have to get in touch first! Browse our blog wedding category for ideas or check through some of the popular wedding blogs and you should find us ..especially via circus wedding search.

Congratulations! Thank you for considering us. Drop me a line or call with a brief description of your thoughts. It helps to know dates, location, any preferences and if possible an outline of event plans. We will have a think and send some basic information straight away to help plan. It takes a while to get to the end but you have to get on the path. Please remember we get inundated so the earlier you get in our thoughts, the better. Look forward to hearing from you...happy planning!

FAQ
(10)
What is your most memorable wedding?
to be honest... we only do so many each year rather than trundling them out one ofter the other, so all of them get personal attention and last a long time in the memory. As they are more involved, the long distance ones, like in Scotland or Ireland have a big impact.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Unique, alternative, festival, circus, theatrical
What about your business are you most proud of?
Carving our own path. Hey.. we did our own diy wedding way back in 1993. A beamed village hall, friends doing catering, others dressing up as chauffeur with polished red 2CV, an arch of jugglers as we left the register, a Cajun band playing the music, a circus cabaret. Did we start the DIY wedding thing??!!
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have fun! Despite all the planing and hard work.. on the day relax, chill and go with the flow. Enjoy yourself.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Recently we did a wedding for a graphic designer. She had table runners, napkins etc designed by herself crammed with imagery that told a story all printed on nice fabrics and looked beautiful.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
from first contact we chat and try to find out the basics , then return fire with imagery, links, a sample form that contains a good list of possible requirements and slowly we get to a point when its worth doing site visit, more chat, more plans..then pencil bookings, deposits and scheduling, more chat, more plans, more chat, more plans!
How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?
We have creative lighting and decor and do our best to work with the style you require and the environment we find ourselves in.. Quite often changes are made on the day to reflect the view etc. We love creative input from clients and will often help to install.
Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?
The next event is the most exciting, from the drive in to the creation from a blank canvas to a wedding celebration!
What is your record time for putting up your marquee?
speed is not the best way to judge things.. we suggest you generally anticipate a day to install tent and equipment, a day to furnish and get creative. Things done too quickly may well go wrong!
What is your favourite design of marquee and why?
Ours of course! But if living in a different climate it would have to be the splendidly colourful and eccentric enormous Mogul empire royal tents or lavish Indian styles.
