What is your most memorable wedding?
We constructed a festival set up for a couple in North Wales with a cabaret circus inspired theme. The entirely bespoke interior completely transformed the overall look of our marquees and even opened our eyes to their potential. It just proves that no vision is too far fetched.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Quintessential, inspiring, breathtaking, bright and beautiful.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The desire and attention to details, the entire workforce apply throughout the whole process.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make time for yourself - We provide a complete package taking away the stress of sourcing individual suppliers. This ensures every couple can take a step back and enjoy watching their wedding come together. After all the whole day is about you!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We fitted home made bunting using maps from places the couple visited and pages from books they've enjoyed. Not only did it look fantastic in a rustic style marquee it was subtly intimate to their shared past.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From first point of contact we help guide and advise couples to ensure their marquee is uniquely theirs. We provide free quotes, layout examples and site visits, where we meet with the couple to discus the finer details. Through getting to know them and their wishes we can provide exactly the right feel to marquee and interior. Working with couples convenience in mind our expert team take no longer than a day to construct the tents and are gone just as quickly.
How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?
We've an extensive range of decorative items and ambient lighting options. Depending on the extent the couple wish to decorate all or one can help create an awe inspiring atmosphere.
Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?
We have worked across hundreds of venues but Trevor Hall in Llangollen stands out the most. A simple country mansion set up, it's maybe not the most exciting but certainly our favourite.
What is your record time for putting up your marquee?
Our team of experienced tentsmen are able to build a decorated marquee for up to 300 people in less than 8 hours. A smaller tent could take half that time meaning the couple can enjoy their marquee for that bit longer.
What is your favourite design of marquee and why?
We specialise in traditional canvas pole tents and would say our most popular is the petal tent. Personally I love the vintage feel of the Victorian ridge tent with the exposed canvas roof and guy ropes.
