Full Description
  • We offer our customers far more than just the hire of our magical giant Nordic tipis. As well as a range of supporting services – floor planning, site visits, supplier liaison, 24 hour call out service, optional site management, and a comprehensive list of recommended venues and suppliers – we also offer reputation, reliability and expertise. We have nine years of knowledge and experience, and many hundreds of successful events under our belts. We have used this time to fine-tune all aspects of the business in both processes and customer service. We are in a position to hold a comprehensive stock of back-up tipis and equipment in reserve, which gives our customers the peace of mind that we can deliver 100% of the time. We have also received many awards over the years, and as our customers have voted them, they mean an awful lot to us. These awards and our testimonials say far more about the service that we provide than we would be comfortable doing! Most of all we are a tight-knit team of people who really know our stuff, and absolutely love what we do! We have a simple company ethos and that is to exceed expectations every time. This is at the heart of everything we do, from the events team in the office to the crews setting up the tipis, and it works!

What is your most memorable wedding?
We are lucky to have been involved in so many beautiful and unique weddings over the years so this is a really tough question to answer! One of the most memorable events in recent times was a tipi wedding with all the trimmings. Held in a family garden on a beautiful midsummer day, guests were invited to dress in their most glamorous, Oscars inspired attire and the bride wore a black couture gown. With THOUSANDS of fairy lights, sparkly hanging pompoms and huge floral centerpieces, the tipis looked simply magnificent.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Let your creativity run wild. The tipis provide a wonderful blank canvas to work with, which can be dressed up to suit any theme you have in mind, or left alone to create a beautiful backdrop to a glorious celebration.
What about your business are you most proud of?
There are far too many to limit it to one! We have seen everything from homemade wedding favours, seating plans based on the couples' love stories, bride & groom arriving at the reception in grandpa's vintage car, wooden platters made from a fallen oak on family land and flowers from local hedgerows. We could go on...
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Atmospheric, magical, versatile, bespoke, beautiful
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Outside looking into the tipis - add a bride and groom and you are guaranteed a beautiful shot!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Prince William was a guest at one of our early tipi weddings.
How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?
Gravlax salmon with dill on sourdough - it reminds us of the tipis' Scandinavian heritage.
Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?
Marshmallows toasted over one of our open fires, on a summer evening, in the tipis!
What is your record time for putting up your marquee?
Other than the structures themselves (which are pretty special) our open fires probably draw the most attention. They add a huge amount of atmosphere and are booked for most weddings, even in the summer.
What is your favourite design of marquee and why?
A significant proportion of our growth has come from word of mouth recommendations. This means a huge amount to us as it reassures us that we are getting things right, and that all of our hard work is paying off.
