Claire Louise has a repertoire that spans from the 1910s through to 2018 and is always adding to this to keep it fresh and keep up with tastes and trends. She specialises in themed sets so offers a 1920s/30s Peaky Blinders/Gatsby themed set, 1940s/wartime themed sets, 1950s sets or just a loose theme such as 'afternoon tea' or a complete mix of modern and vintage pop, jazz and soul to suit all tastes, as many couples want all of their guests to feel there is something in the set list for them. Claire Louise can adapt her style to any kind of event and when not singing at weddings can be found performing at public events including The Tyne Theatre 'Greatest Show On The Tyne', A Music Hall show in Hull, The North East Chilli Festival in 2017 and various 1940s weekends and cabaret events, and she performs at a range of private functions. She also teaches popular music vocals and musical theatre to youngsters and adults who help to keep her up to date with current popular music (especially the teenagers!). If you would like to hear Claire Louise in action, there are many audio demos on her website, www.vintagesingerclairelouise.co.uk , and her soundcloud page, https://soundcloud.com/claire_louise-1 Her delivery is flawless and professional, she has an excellent PA system that guarantees a good quality sound that can be as loud or quiet as you like, her equipment is PAT tested and she has public liability insurance. Claire Louise will work with you to provide the perfect set list for your wedding - whatever your taste.

Be the first one to tell everyone about the experience you’ve had with this supplier.
What is your most memorable wedding?
I once sang at a 1940s themed wedding - the reception was at a war museum and the first dance was next to an army tank!
What about your business are you most proud of?
I know that I go the extra mile for every client to ensure the music for their event is perfect.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan in advance, and don't forget the entertainment - its one of the main things (apart from you, the happy couple!) guests will remember about your day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There's too many to think of! Every couple I have sang for have had amazing ideas to suit their own style and personality.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After the initial enquiry, couples often have a browse of my repertoire and a listen to my audio/watch my videos online. If they are local, we sometimes meet, if further afield we have a chat about their preferences on the phone. Once the couple are sure they want to book they pay a booking fee to secure the date, they will then give me venue and rough arrival time estimate. Then, at an appropriate time - either on booking or 2-3 months before the wedding, the couple will send me their song choices or agree on a suggested set list with me. 1 month before the wedding - or whenever they have met and conformed with the venue - the couple will confirm timings and pay the remaining balance. On the day, I arrive in plenty of time to set up and give them entertainment that all their guests (and most importantly they) will love!
What makes a romantic first dance?
Whatever works for the couple - everyone is different!
What is your number one floor-filler?
Proud Mary in my 1960s now sets or the Postmodern Jukebox version of Careless Whisper for my vintage sets.
