What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding was a 1920's themed wedding where i was working alongside a group of actors. The couple had hired actors to pretend they were police, there was two girls in coats handing out prohibition information on the illegal on illegal drinking and all alcoholic drinks were served in tea cups. Suddenly an alarm went off and the police ran off to investigate, at this point, I bust into 'The Charleston' and the two girls flung off their coats to reveal fully fringed, sequin, flapper dresses. It was fantastic and timing was crucial.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I get a lot of work from recommendation. It is a huge compliment to me that I have made someones day feel so special to them that they recommend me to friends or contact me again years later for another events to celebrate with them.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Speak to everyone, you want to make sure than you connect with people and that you understand each other so that you can ensure nothing will go wrong at the last minute due to a communication error. I always have enough time to meet with couples if needed or at least have a few catch up telephone conversations before the big day to ensure the plans run as smoothly as possible.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I sang at a wedding where the couple had painted 2 rowing boats and had arranged it so that the guests could take them out on the lake during the pictures.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I'll give a range of different options and speak to you about what you're looking for before eventually taking a deposit for the booking and confirming a date. I will then give you all my contact info and you will be able to contact me at any point from that day going forward. If I haven't heard anything from you by a month prior to your big day I will contact you and arrange some time for us to either meet or talk more about plans, themes, colour schemes, song requests, times, etc.
What makes a romantic first dance?
That personal touch. Your favourite song sung live. I sang for a first dance in June this year and at the moment when I sang the highest most powerful note, I gave a signal so that the DJ could let off a white confetti cannon onto the dancing couple. It was beautiful.
What is your number one floor-filler?
At Last by Etta James
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
There are many! The Supremes, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee,
What is the soundtrack to your life?
I have recently learnt 'Kissing You' from the soundtrack to Romeo & Juliet by Des Ray. I absolutely love it and believe it would be the most romantic song to walk down the isle to. Otherwise I've always been a huge fan of 'Forever Young' by Alphaville
