The combination of Cello and Guitar is something a little different to the more traditional choice of String Quartet for a wedding. We feel the combination of the rich sound of the cello paired with the versatility of the guitar is something perfectly suited to Weddings. We have performed as a duo since January 2017, however (as you will see from our biographies on our website) we are both musicians with many years of experience and extensive musical training who perform regularly with a range of ensembles and will provide high-quality background music for your wedding. We perform in a wide range of styles - classical, pop, jazz and even Irish traditional - please see our website for a full list. We pride ourselves on offering a bespoke and individualised service for all clients. We give you the opportunity to choose which pieces from our repertoire you would like us to play but also are happy to advise you on choices of music if you are unsure what would be suitable. We also offer an 'arranging' service so that you can request a particular piece, which is not currently part of our repertoire, to truly personalise your wedding. This is normally charged at an additional cost but clients booking through Bridebook will receive this service for FREE. We are able to perform indoors or outside as the guitarist has a battery operated amp and the cello requires no amplification. If you did want a more modern look, the cellist can perform on an electric cello but will require mains power for this.
