A happy couple
You guys were epic, glorious vocals and musicality! Such an amazing band, thank you so much for a fantastic performance at our wedding.....
Full Fedora package includes:
3x45 minute sets, full 6 piece line-up, professional sound engineer, a PA, stage lighting, mics, amps, the full back line. We also offer a DJ set for after we have performed (free of charge).
Live Lounge Acoustic package includes:
3 x 45 minute acoustic sets with 5 or 4 piece line up.
This package suits drinks receptions, or any events where conversational entertainment with more impact is desired. The acoustic package (detailed below) is more for background music, the Live Lounge adds percussion and is more up-tempo. It's louder and more prominent so we recommend it for slightly larger parties.
If you would prefer, we can offer you our Acoustic Trio option which is a 3 piece line up. Here is a description of this package:
This package is ideal for customers who want a more personal offer than just CD background tracks at a drinks reception or for during dinner at a corporate function or wedding.

What is your most memorable wedding?
The Rowantree at The Caves, Edinburgh. The dance floor was jumping all night and the crowd jammed with us!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Retro, passionate, energetic, fun, versatille.
What about your business are you most proud of?
We have an exciting catalogue of songs and 6 versatile musicians. Emily and The Fedoras bring passion and showmanship to their performance. Our retro style alone make us stand out on any stage.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Communication with the service provider. We invite couples along to see us perform before the big day (we gig regularly around Edinburgh). That way we can meet you in person and chat about your big day. You can also hear us play any songs from our ever evolving set list and see how we would keep your dance floor bouncing all night!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Finding out if there are any guests with birthdays/anniversaries and dedicating a song to them.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
As mentioned, you can meet us in a rehearsal; it will be like your very own private gig! If you can't make it along, we can Skype you. You can choose what songs you would like us to play on your wedding day from our set list. You can also choose the songs that go on your DJ set or we can make these up for you as a nice surprise on the day! Emily will stay in touch with you regularly and is always available to chat about any questions you may have.
What makes a romantic first dance?
We have a few suggestions: Louis Armstrong La Vie En Rose, Al Green I Wanna Hold Your Hand. For a quirky, fun suggestion, Imelda May Big Bad Handsome Man. We play all of these songs!
What is your number one floor-filler?
Most of our songs fill the floor! But it's a close tie between Proud Mary Ike and Tuna Turner or Your Love Keeps Lifting Me (Higher and Higher) Jackie Wilson. Our version of The White Stripes 7 Nation Army always goes down well.
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
There are too many to choose from! Here are a few as I can't narrow it down! Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band (random fact, my initials are E Streete and I used to make up dance routines to them when I was wee!), Guns and Roses, James Brown's band, Martha and The Vandella's.
What is the soundtrack to your life?
Again, too many to choose from but music from The Commitments springs to mind.
