Emma Sheppard Full Description
Music is a unique and important part of your special day. We can help you choose music that will frame your ceremony - adding beauty and elegance, entertaining your guests and setting the atmosphere as you walk in... Granada has a large range of music including classical, jazz and pop. If we don't already have your favourite song/piece of music we can either obtain it, or have an arrangement made. As well as going out as a quartet, we also play as a trio which is often the favoured choice for smaller spaces or smaller budgets. Over the years we've had the pleasure of playing in a huge variety of ceremonies: in various settings and for many different people, cultures and religions. It is important to us that you have a fantastic day so we are always professional, flexible and respectful in our conduct. Wishing you all the best, Granada

What is your most memorable wedding?

Can't choose! I'm often really touched and find myself laughing and crying along with everyone else - each wedding is unique. That said, whilst living in America I'm excited to have experienced some of the beautiful and different traditions found in Greek, Jewish, Persian, Chinese, African-American and Japanese ceremonies. I'm also proud to have played for some of the first legal same-sex marriages in San Francisco. Not sure if any of my colleagues in the quartet have played for any of the royal weddings - but entirely possible as we play in those orchestras and often play for royalty.

What about your business are you most proud of?

That we care!
