Full Description
Here is an example of options we can offer. Our Service: We’ll play up to a maximum of four hours ceilidh which is more than enough for most people. (e.g. from 8pm till midnight), taking a short break during the evening buffet. We can call all the dances from the floor with a radio microphone so that all guests can join in regardless of experience. We can also sing some folk songs to break up the dancing if needed. We come with all our own great sounding P.A. and lighting when appropriate for that extra something. All our electrical equipment is PAT tested and we have our own public liability insurance. Our Reputation: As a full time professional musician you can be assured of the best attention in both musicianship and service. Please see the glowing third party reviews on our website and listen to some live audio clips for an accurate representation of the music. We are currently ranked no.1 out of 578 bands across the UK on FreeIndex. We have a vast experience in playing wedding and festivals including 8 appearances at T in the Park ceilidh tent. Click here for the reviews or paste in your browser -   http://www.ironbroo.scot/reviews.html We never disappoint  :-) Solo to 6 piece band available. Disco option:  We also offer an optional Disco package we'd put on for the last hour till 1 am and during the break or as you require, giving you up to a total 5 hours of music. if required the Disco is £180 in addition to any line-up and covers also the cost of putting together any playlist you have in advance. If you wish to connect an iPod during our break rather than having the disco, no problem. We don’t charge extra for this.

my dad's 60th in Perthshire
Charlie performed at my dad's 60th in Perthshire, there were 100 people there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music and singing. We thoroughly enjoyed the ceilidh. Considering he was on his own I can only imagine how good the full band are. Highly recommended!

July wedding
We hired Charlie and his amazing 3-piece band for our wedding in July 2017. They were absolutely fantastic providing a ceilidh all night long for people who were experienced ceilidh dancers to complete novices. They were fantastic musicians and also great and calling the dances. The disco at the middle and end of hte night was also just what was needed to make it a perfect evening. Their communication and organisation was great and their price very reasonable. Thank you so much to all of you!

Truly Awesome!
They were truly AWESOME! Everyone commented on how fabulous they were. We had a lot of non-ceilidh dancers, and they called the dances and got everyone on their feet and joining in. Even those who couldn't join in the dancing had a great time watching everyone give it a go-the atmosphere they created was fantastic! A brilliant selection of dances and speeds to give everyone a chance. Booking etc was super easy and they were so friendly and professional. Cannot recommend enough!!!!! Less

Brilliant!
We had Iron Broo play at our wedding in October 2017 and we thought they were brilliant. Our guests all had a great time, and one couple have asked for the bands contact details to get them to play at their own wedding next year. Charlie was easy to deal with and quick and professional in all correspondence. He also did a great job in calling the ceilidh dances and keeping everyone right. We would definitely recommend Iron Broo to anyone looking for a ceilidh band for their wedding, and hope to see them again at our friends wedding soon!

We will Cherish Dearly!
Iron Broo played for our Golden Wedding Party and we had a most successful evening. Charlie played music that got everyone dancing and with his direction showed the guests how to do the dances. We have made a few videos which we will cherish dearly. If we celebrate anything else that would be our first choice.

What is your most memorable wedding?

My own one in Italy. I got some friends to play our ceilidh in Lecce. There was free wine all night and the band didn't start till 1am after 5 hours of eating. Free wine to Scots couldn't be refused of course and they were playing for free. The fiddle player got rather drunk and collapsed during our first dance. The second fiddle took over and we had a fantastic night. I keep threatining to put our wedding video on YouTube.
