Full Description
I am a classically trained violinist and violin teacher. I provide music for weddings, parties, functions and gallery openings. My repertoire is varied, from classical, rock, jazz and pop. I usually perform with a cellist or harpist, but can provide a string quartet or trio. I work with the couple or organiser, to make sure the music is tailored to their tastes. I can accommodate requests in advance. Some of my recent performances include Boardmasters 2017 and 2018 Festival, Newquay, Cornwall. 2018, I appeared at the Great Estate Festival, Scorrier as a duo. Since living in Cornwall in 2011, I have provided music for several weddings. In addition, I am the violinist in The Bowie Lounge. We have performed in Cornwall since 2013 including The Poly and Princess Pavilion, Falmouth, Acorn Theatre, Penzance, The Guildhall, St Ives and Port Eliot Festival (2017) and Phoenix Theatre, Exeter. 2018, we performed at The Great Estate Festival, Scorrier, The Regal Theatre, Redruth and The Performance Centre, AMATA, Falmouth University all in Cornwall. Also, I teach violin and theory from beginners and returners, to advanced levels. My students range from 6 to adults. I do have some flexibility with my prices, so please do contact me.
