Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Classic with a quirky edge.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Definitely research what couples wish they'd planned differently after having had their wedding! Especially in the early stages when you're planning the budget. Almost always the top two things they wish they'd spent more on are Photographers and Music.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I performed at the wedding of a Biologist and a Wine Connoisseur (I know!) and they had the perfect wedding favours that represented both their interests - a tiny succulent planted in a wine cork - super cute and it really worked! I love seeing a couple's personality shining through from the big things through to the little details.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like an informal first meeting, maybe over coffee, maybe at the venue, sometimes I ask a couple to meet me at one of their favourite places. That first meeting is about getting to know each other and making sure we're the right fit! We'll of course discuss any ideas you already have and I'll talk you through what options are available and how we can tailor them to suit you both. From that moment, I'm available to discuss further points via email and phone at your discretion. Further face to face meetings are always welcome! You'll always receive prompt and honest responses to your communications.
What makes a romantic first dance?
Seeing a couple get completely lost in each other and letting the whole room disappear.
What is your number one floor-filler?
It depends on the crowd (and how much they've already had to drink!) but "Uptown Funk" is still going strong as is "Valerie" and "Superstition"...it's all about that funky intro!!
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
Spice Girls...gotta be honest! I grew up on Girl Power! It would've been cool to be in an 80s Hair Metal band as well :'D
