The Cake is iced, the reception is arranged, the cars are booked...........................and the music? Think of those first few important hours of your reception when guests will be arriving and sitting down together for the first time. A pleasant relaxed atmosphere will be vital. To ensure a perfect start to your wedding, welcome your guests with the sound of the PHOENIX STRING QUARTET. The Phoenix String Quartet, formed in 1979, are four Professional musicians who between them have worked with orchestras such as The London Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The London Philharmonic and The BBC Symphony Orchestra. They have also performed in various West End Shows, including Evita, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon and Sunset Boulevard, and with singers such as José Carreras, Russell Watson, Andrea Bocelli, Elton John, Sir Cliff Richard, Michael Ball, Natalie Cole and Diana Ross. They have blended their classical training with a passion for popular melodies of all ages, and the result is as delightful as it is distinctive. For you and your guests the music of PHOENIX will help make your wedding a truly memorable occasion. As the poet Shelley perceptively observed, "Music, when soft voices die, vibrates in the memory" Given sufficient time we can normally arrange one or two pieces for your ceremony.
