Steven Maddison - North East Wedding DJ

If you want a DJ who’s not only an amazing DJ but also just a genuinely nice person, then this is the man for you! Leading up to wedding nothing was too much trouble and although I had met him before at a couple of other events, it’s like chatting to an old friend. He genuinely cares about your day as much as you. Nothing is too much trouble. Our wedding pretty much turned into a 90s rave by the end and we absolutely LOVED it. I’ve never laughed and danced so much surrounded by all our friends and family. We’ve had so many comments from guests on what a great day it was and Steven was a big part of that. Thanks again ☺️

It can get really overwhelming and confusing when you’re booking the big things for your wedding day but when I saw all of Steven’s amazing reviews I knew I wanted to get in touch with him, and I’m so glad I did. From day 1 of speaking to him he was so helpful, going through all the different set ups he has, rather than 1 size fits all, giving me advice and recommendations and making the whole process so easy. On the night the wooden set up he’d recommended looked really lovely and blended in so well with my beautiful venue, Doxford Barns. I’d chosen some music that I wanted to be played on the night and Steven mixed that in with his own choices and had the dance floor full of guests of all ages, from my godchildren to my parents, all loving the music. We had an absolutely amazing night and Steven was a big part of that, plus he’s a really lovely bloke which made it even better! ☺️

Everything about Steven is incredible. His attitude and love for his job makes him the best DJ. When it comes to a wedding you want all your suppliers to really care about your day as they are such a big part of it and Steven does exactly that. He cannot help you enough. His white set up is absolutely amazing and everything looks so clean (no wires hanging around etc). I cannot recommend Steven enough. If you are looking at this deciding on whether to book him for your wedding or not just do it. It’ll be the best thing you ever do. Steven I just want to thank you for being a part of the best day of our lives and making it so special.

Steven... thank you! You were way more than just a DJ, from the first message enquiring for our big day I knew you’d be their, sharing the fun part of our day with us. I feel like you got to know us as a couple rather than just turning up on the night & just playing a few songs. Little extra stuff like picking our own playlist online was amazing! Ah Steven where do I start?! We have voted for you to win north east DJ award and if could give you 11/10 I would have. From start to finish you delivered on everything! We always thought we might regret not booking a live band for our wedding but I have absolutely no regrets. The dancefloor was full literally the whole night and ALL my guests could not stop telling me how amazing you were. The monogram was simply stunning and so personalised. We booked Steven at least 2 years before our wedding, we found him through some Facebook page and his initial contact was like no other. So friendly, so helpful and after having a look at his reviews we thought yep, this is the guy we want. From then you have been nothing but amazing Steven, guiding us through all this wedding and not just DJ related. Going above and beyond when we asked for an original mixed first dance song and even getting creative with our name in lights. And this was all before the big day! But the night of our wedding will be one we and all our guest will never forget! The playlist was phenomenal and the dance floor rammed all night long. I am still receiving texts asking if the playlist is downloaded ha! So on behalf of me and my wife we thank you Steven, it was an absolute pleasure. We give you a massive 5*!!!!
