The Akina String quartet was established in 2010 by four versatile young musicians who brought with them many years of experience performing at high profile events with other professional groups in the UK and beyond. The ensemble quickly established a reputation for providing exquisite music and the ensemble has now expanded and is built on a core body of professional players all of whom have studied at top Conservatoires.
The Akina String Quartet are highly adaptable and are equally comfortable performing for Royalty, entertaining guests at corporate events, providing the perfect background music for Weddings and other ceremonies as well as performing recitals and delivering engaging education projects to schools.
