The experience was superb
From start top finish the experience was superb. From our first virtual meeting to recieving our photos and photobook, Ian and Caroline were a joy to work with. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they even reccommended some other suppliers who were also excellent. The qulaity of the stills was better than we could have hoped for. The way they approached the day made everything just so easy. They felt more like guests that suppliers come the end of the day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

Outstanding
I would give Ian & Caroline 100 stars if I could. I can't speak highly enough of them as people and their work and I would recommend them without hesitation to any couple looking for their wedding photographers. From initial consultation to final delivery of albums, their professionalism was outstanding. On the day - they were lovely to be with and discreet at all times through our ceremony. When we first saw our photos, we could not believe it! Ian is a miracle worker.

So delighted
We were so delighted to have Ian and Caroline document our wedding day for us. They made all the preparations a joy (whilst being completely flexible as everything was thrown up in the air by the pandemic!), and - on the day - they were professional, supportive and discreet. Most importantly, the photos are absolutely fantastic, with the documentary style providing the most natural chronology of the day. We have returned to them on so many occasions since, and love them even more with every view

They made the wedding process so much fun
Both Ian and Caroline are incredible. They are amazing at what they do, so kind and caring and made the wedding process so much fun. The pictures are beautiful and capture our day perfectly. The wedding album is also proudly on display at our house, it is so well made. We are so thankful to them. Highly recommend.

Our wedding photographer was one of the best decis
We got married in June 2022. Choosing Ian as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. We did not want staged posed photos. We wanted someone to capture the magic of the day, the moments we did not see... (and make us look good in the process!). From Day 1 (our intro zoom call) we knew we had found the very best. On the day some guests thought that Ian was a friend, others commented on how unobtrusive and relaxed he was. Ian (and Caroline) simply blended into the background

Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

How could I choose one wedding over so many great ones? They all are brilliant for different reasons. It's an honour to document a couple's special day.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Unobtrusive. Professional. Natural. Emotive. Timeless.

What about your business are you most proud of?

My customer service and the response I get from my couples when they see their images for the first time.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't stress it, enjoy the day and just go with the flow.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I see it at every wedding. The look of pride on a parent's face and that magical moment when the bride and groom's eyes meet as she walks down the aisle towards him. Simply amazing.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We meet. We hit it off. They book. They marry. I attend and narrate their wedding day. I deliver great customer service (is that enough?).

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

One where they aren't camera aware but are showing the true love they have for each other. That's priceless.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I don't pose or contrive images. They are all real moments (apart from the group shots and very lightly directed bride/groom portraits.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

An umbrella, a pair of wellies and the mindset that rain will not spoil your day - (trust me, it won't).

Describe how you got into photography.

A very boring answer, just like everyone else I suppose. My dad was a photographer, he bought me a camera, we had a darkroom at home. That's it (told you it was boring).
