What can we say about Holly that hasn’t already been said?! Holly is a joy and pleasure to work with, she has been a friendly face throughout the lead up to the wedding. If my husband and I are honest, we weren’t sure we needed a photographer for our wedding (it was a 16 person wedding, including myself and my now husband!) We had a look at portfolios online and contacted Holly after loving her intimate style photography. Having reservations on hiring a photographer, we had a chat with Holly over the phone (we live in Buckinghamshire, so no quick coffee and a chat, but we had booked a venue in the Isle of Wight) and we were immediately sold! Holly was incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful, she never pressured us on hiring a photographer, let alone herself. We made the decision on the spot and hired Holly over the phone, and we did not regret it! Holly is amazing! On our engagement shoot, she was a calming, relaxed and happy influence on two very awkward, slightly nervous people. We were happy to follow Holly’s lead and in no time, we forgot we were having ‘a photoshoot’ and that we were on a very public beach. Without Holly’s patience and unobtrusive style we wouldn’t have had such stunning photographs. Holly does exactly what she lives by ‘photographing people not poses.’ The photographs are beautiful and honest with emotion showing through. We were certain after our engagement shoot that we had definitely found a photographer to fit our style, to the extent that we have had very similar weddings and shared more than a few things in common. On the big day, Holly was incredible, she is friendly and bubbly, her enthusiasm is infectious in everything she does, be it photographs, quelling last minute wedding nerves or generally being helpful in getting ready. Throughout our extremely windy, rainy day, she never wavered and was happy to troop out as soon as the rain stopped for another photo or two. After the wedding, our photos were very quick to arrive and they are phenomenal! Holly’s passion for people shines through in her photos, they are perfect in so many ways, and she is, to say the least, a very talented photographer with an eye for the tiniest detail. Her stance on posed photos resulted in the truest emotion in all our photographs, you only have to look at one of the photos to feel exactly what you did in that moment. I will never be grateful enough to Holly for quietly photographing our ‘first look’ on our wedding day. It is and will always be such a special moment for my husband and I, the photos are forever, like the rest of our day, a special keepsake of a raw and true insight to the emotion that was our wedding day. Holly, you truly did make our wedding day special and a treasure to remember. You will forever be a friend.

Holly was brilliant from start to finish. She started with an engagement shoot where she worked out how to make my future husband and I feel at ease and not awkward in front of the camera - it made a big difference on the day! When the wedding day came, she was as enthusiastic as ever. Her enthusiasm is infectious! She moved amongst everyone taking photos of the venue and capturing special moments between people without ever getting in the way. Many of our guests said how lovely she was and we all gave her a round of applause during the speeches. She sent us the photos after we got back from honeymoon and they looked brilliant! She knows how to do things with focus and how to emphasise details and colours to say something special in each photo. There's so much emotion and storytelling in the pictures she takes, some make us laugh, some make us sigh in a warm and happy way. All of them take us back to the day in a wonderful way. Holly was absolutely amazing from the moment that we contacted her. She put everyone at ease so well at our wedding, and made the part that people usually dread really enjoyable! All anyone had for her were positive words about how she engaged with guests - and we couldn't believe some of the shots she got of the speeches/ceremony as we didn’t at any point see her taking them, which meant they were much more natural than we were expecting! We were very happy with Holly from the start, but the time where she really blew us away was after the wedding. Our photos were beautifully presented to us on a USB stick with in a personalised leather case. When it came to the physical album, she was so patient with our ridiculous demands for what we wanted, and the final result was exactly what we wanted. Holly was so attentive and incredibly fair with the costs as well – she really went above and beyond with our album and it is absolutely perfect. All in all we are delighted with the service that we got and would 100% recommend Holly to anyone who wants a friendly, professional and unique photographer who will dedicates much time as it takes to understand your wishes and see them through!
