We are Joanne & John, best friends with a love for capturing beautiful natural images with over 10years of experience in wedding photography. We're based in Manchester but travel all over the UK including Northern Ireland, our aim is to provide all our bride & grooms with stunning, creative, light, natural, and fresh documentary-style wedding photos, we also cover your formal shots too. We understand how hard it is for couples to choose a wedding photographer as there are so many amazing photographers in the northwest, we can only imagine how overwhelming it is trying to decide what style suits you both. Weddings are joyful, teary, petrifying, and romantic all rolled into one day, our aim is to capture a story of your day in images, capturing all the tears, laughter, and silly moments as well as something a little more romantic. Wedding photography is a very personal service and each wedding we shoot is unique, just as unique as you are and no wedding is the same, it’s capturing those moments you both may miss. We will capture the day in an organic and natural way with very minimal interruption.

I loved how warm and friendly they were with us and our guests. So great that there were two photographers to capture the day from different places (in the morning when we were getting ready) and from different angles during the day. Also loved that they were really experienced and happy to direct us and the guests for the group photos and just blended in with the guests for the rest of the ceremony/party.

I would highly recommend using Jo and John as your wedding photographers! We recently received all our wedding pictures back and I was so amazed with all of them. They managed to truly capture every magical minute of our day, looking back over them was like re-living our day all over again. We initially had a pre-wedding photoshoot with Jo and John which really helped put myself and my husband at ease for the photos on the day and it was lovely to get to know them both prior to the big day.

The photos are fantastic, but importantly they were also very warm and professional people to have with us on the big day, and did a great job of efficiently capturing countless photos from the ceremony and our evening party. 7 long years ago ER photography photographed my 18th birthday party, they were so professional and the photos were fantastic so I knew I would have to use them on my wedding day! They were so thorough from official photos to candid shots, and we’ve only seen the sneak peek so far. They caught some of the best moments and we were in tears looking at the original few. They kept us up to date at every point and ask for all the information I wouldn’t of even thought of. They helped create a stress free, calm and fun environment. Jon and jo are wonderful people and a delight to be around on your wedding day, even helping out with things in the girls room and fitting the men’s button holes.
