Aaron Jeffels North East Wedding Photographer
When people think of wedding photography they think of lines of people standing glum while the photographer barks orders at them. This has been happening at every wedding since the camera was first invented. Why? Why are we still doing this? Why do people still line up for their photo on their special day when they don’t want to or have to? Well, I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to any more!
I photograph people! Not weddings!
Weddings to me are about photographing the good and the bad, the smiles and the tears, the hugs and the kisses.
I’m there to photograph you being you.
I’m there to document that one special day in time that you can call yours. Every moment is special, every moment has the same worth and every moment of your special day should be documented.
I’m a documentary photographer, and I photograph people!
So Why Wedding Photography?
No one leaves school wanting to be a wedding photographer! So why did I decide on wedding photography?
Well, what better way to make a living than to photograph people’s most precious day. This might sound odd, but I love weddings and wedding photography. It has everything you could ask for as a documentary wedding photographer. People are happy to start with, but then flip that on its head and the raw emotions you get from people hits home really hard. It never feels like a job to me. I get a buzz from start to finish and I love being that fly on the wall.
I think its a real privilege to witness two peoples wedding day from the inner circle. It always amazes me how people can let me in to capture the really emotional parts of their life just after meeting one or two times.
For that, I will always be grateful
