I'm Adam, a wedding and portrait photographer based on the west coast of Cumbria, just outside the Lake District National Park. Whilst covering the whole of the UK, I love natural, documentary-style photography, focusing on the special moments and emotions between people. I will spend my time at your wedding capturing the essence of what your day is all about, from the small details, to the funny, tender and emotional moments between you and your guests - and all the little things you may have missed during the whirlwind of your wedding day! My creative approach is to look and listen with anticipation for those key moments to unfold. I tend to avoid any fuss or awkward posing, whilst producing a vibrant, natural, emotional result. I am not here to dictate like a director how the day evolves and more importantly the emotion you feel, I am there to capture those big moments, with all the special parts in-between. Here to tell your story, capturing memories that might otherwise be missed. I like to let the day unfold naturally and capture who you and your loved ones really are. You won't see me leaving early just because things are running a little late. No two weddings are the same, my approach and wedding package reflects this, it is your day for me and my camera to fit within. I truly believe your wedding could be the best, most memorable day in your life. I am here to reflect just that, making capturing every memory as relaxed, dedicated and authentic as possible. You are investing your trust and money in a person who will research, emphasise with, care for and craft a set of images that will be a part of your family history.
Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Adam
I love all things creative, family, dogs, and Oreo cookies. I live with my wife Deana and our five dogs (yes… FIVE!) Shyla, Jenson, Cooper, Ella and Kobe. We prefer the simple things in life. The fells, the dogs and our families. I remember the vast amount of planning and stress a wedding can bring, so I aim to make finding and booking a photographer you love and trust one of those things you can easily tick off your list!

Vibrant, authentic, creative, documentary, professional
What about your business are you most proud of?
As a photographer I am in a privileged and unique position. I take my role seriously, which is reflected through everything I do and everything I offer.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Rip up the rule book and do it your way.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Exactly that, any detail that is personal to the bride and groom as a couple. I love to see couples breaking from the normal proceedings and enjoying their wedding day their own way!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My creative approach is to look and listen with anticipation for those key moments to unfold. I tend to avoid any fuss or awkward posing, whilst producing a vibrant, natural, emotional result. Super relaxed and laid back, as it is important you are comfortable when my camera is around.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Tough tough question... Has to be those images away from the hustle and bustle of the day, when the bride and groom can take a moment for each other and take it all in! I try and encourage the couples to focus on each other.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Don't worry about stuff outside your control, remember why you are getting married in the first place. Grab those wellies and brollies for those images with extra drama!
Describe how you got into photography.
I have dedicated most of my life to all things creative, always reverting back to my true passion - photography. Although I cannot stand and say I have 10 or 20 years experience as a wedding photographer, I have spent much of the last 10 to 15 years with a camera in my hand. Many people call me a perfectionist with a real fear of failure, perfect qualities for a wedding photographer.
