There is something special in every wedding.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Professional, relaxed, modern, fun and documentary
What about your business are you most proud of?
Helping my couples feel at ease in front of the camera to tell their story as best I can via my images.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make sure you connect well with your photographer. A good rapport between the photographer and the couple will mean a good understanding to capture the essence of your special day and document all the connections and emotions in the air.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A groom one day had written a song for his bride and just before the speeches he stood up, went to get his guitar and started singing! It was A MAZ ING!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I usually meet my couple prior the big day to get to know them. When possible, I like to go to the actual venue so we can run through the order of the day together and if the couple is camera shy, I take a few shots to help them feel better and more relaxed on the day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The couple should have 5 minutes with their photographer after the wedding breakfast and before the arrival of the evening guests because they will feel a lot more relaxed and the shots will be beautiful and natural. Plus it's an excuse the for the couple to spend a bit of time together away from everyone.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Beautiful umbrellas and why not some nice wellies! We can make it fun!
Describe how you got into photography.
I got inspired by Robert Doisneau and Alfred Einstaedt but it's only late in life after the birth of my daughter that I turned my passion into a business in 2008
