FAQ

What is your most memorable wedding?

My first ever wedding I worked solely on my own! It was in a beautiful mansion in Macclesfield on the hottest day of the year, with a birds of prey tent outside and an owl who delivered the rings!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, natural, bright, classic, traditional

What about your business are you most proud of?

Going into my business full-time after two years part-time as a single Mum with an 8 week old at the time, and continuing on three years later with an incredibly busy diary and a beautiful studio!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Relax!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Pets being involved will always be my favourite! I also love sentimental details for family members who can’t be there.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Enquiry, consultation in person or over the phone. Once booked with a deposit, I offer as many consultations and chats as needed. I offer a shot list which can be personalized to ensure all the posed portraits are everything the couple needs! Full payment is paid 3 weeks before the big day. After the wedding is over, a few previews are posted online with the couples consent and the full gallery is ready in 4-5 weeks.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The most loved photos by my clients are the natural ones of the two of them happy together!

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A portrait on top of a 15 story building in Manchester on a stormy day

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrellas and a sense of humour!

Describe how you got into photography.

I used to be a paranormal investigator and was their photographer, as well as photographing bands and live music on weekends! I got into family and portraits shortly after and then weddings about three and a half years ago
