I love serving newly engaged couples who feel overwhelmed by the wedding planning process and help ground them through a photography experience that shifts the focus to the beauty of their relationship, their story and the future of their married life together. My approach to wedding photography is simple: to capture the moment. My style is intimate and full of connection, focused on the in-between moments and real stories. Less posed, more photojournalistic to create a comprehensive documentary of your special day including every laugh and every tear for you to treasure forever!

What is your most memorable wedding?
My first one! It was the one that convinced me this is what I want to spend every day doing :-) I love love and spending my days photographing it... It's literally the best thing since sliced bread!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Authentic, emotion-embracing, intimate, in-the-moment and full of connection!
What about your business are you most proud of?
The relationships and bonds that I form with my couples :-)
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Everyone is going to have opinions, but this is your day. Don't ever forget that. To everyone else, it's a day at an event. Stay true to your own heart and vision, and plan a wedding that will rock YOUR world! Want to go with a vegan menu? Do! Want to have an unplugged ceremony? Heck yes! Want to put mason jars on your table even though it's not "in style" anymore? Go for it!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my brides went to her wedding venue in the spring to pick cherry blossom petals that had fallen from the trees surrounding her ceremony location and dried them at home. These were later the petals they used to throw as confetti as the newlyweds exited the venue.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After the wedding consultation –during which we discuss all the details of the day and what it's like to work with me, go through the contract, the wedding day timeline, and any questions that may pop up–, I have an easy four-step process that I follow with each couple. First there's the signed contract and £500 retainer to hold the date, followed by their engagement session, finalising the wedding day details two months before the wedding and checking for any last minute changes four weeks before.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Apart from the obvious venue exit and bride & groom portraits, I think a "three generations" photograph is very powerful. The bride with her mother and grandmother, and the groom with his father and grandfather.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Bring umbrellas and remember what they say - rain on a wedding day means luck!
Describe how you got into photography.
I discovered photography when I was 14 years old and it was instant love. Over the next few months, I borrowed my father's camera and photographed almost every detail of my small town life, living on the southern coast of Sweden. A place where everybody knew everybody, and always had. Early on, I figured out I wanted more. I wanted to travel, see new places, speak a new language, create something for myself and make a difference in the world. I decided to study photography and eagerly learnt everything I could. After studying photography for three years, I worked at a local Swedish magazine as their events photographer for a while. But I had this niggling feeling of wanting to explore the world. I had never been to England before but I thought it would be a good place to start. I moved over in 2012 and here I am :-) Still chasing my dreams and still madly in love with photography!
