Full Description
When I am commissioned to capture a wedding my fee includes a pre-wedding venue visit, attending the wedding rehearsal where possible and unlimited coverage from the Bridal preparations through to the first dance. I shoot in colour and then edit with a compilation of coloured and monochrome images to produce a storybook of your wedding day. My fee includes a private gallery for you to share with family and friends. The digital files are presented to you on either a DVD or USB with full licence. I work with Queensberry and am able to offer a Queensberry Pressbook at a very special rate. I don't seek to make a profit on your wedding album and simply invite you to pay Queensberry directly. This is my gift to you.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Ecole Militaire, Paris.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, unobtrusive, monochrome, grainy and evocative.

What about your business are you most proud of?

Being a Queensberry Partner. Seeing my work presented in a Queensberry Pressbook.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Ensure that your photographer's style and personality suit you as a couple.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I always meet my clients and have coffee first. I like to get to know them a little, to see them laugh and interact so that I have an idea of who they are. It is important to me to know that they are passionate about their wedding photography. If they share the same passion then I know that we can work well together to produce beautiful images of their day.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

I have no special photograph. All couples are different and so until I get to know them I cannot say.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Clients know my style is natural and unobtrusive. Generally, aside from the usual group shots, my clients trust me to work alone with my creativity.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Lots of fun umbrella and Wellington shots! I take advantage of the weather!

Describe how you got into photography.

I have always been passionate about black and white portraiture. Photographing my family led others to comment and encourage me to take this passion further.
