My love affair with photography started when I was very young, my parents had a box full of old family photos. These curling, treasured images held memories. Some were taken by my grandad on his old Brownie. They showed me people and places that I’d never know or would never meet again. And every now and then, I'd escape to be with these people and step right into the past. That’s what makes photography so special, it’s a way of creating memories that you’ll have for the rest of your life. Memories are precious, special moments that slip through our hands all too easily. Being able to capture them before they’re lost is why I’m a photographer.
If I put my super practical hat on I can easily provide you with a list of the skills that led me to photography. In C.V. speak; I’m a highly motivated individual who’s happy working with others as I am alone. But as I’m a photographer, I don't have to do that any more. So, instead I’ll say that I’m, quite simply, a people person. I'm very interested in people. I'm also highly visual, always ‘looking’. Taking in what’s around me from surroundings to emotions and little details. It’s fair to say that not much escapes my eye!
I wholeheartedly believe that celebrating family and love is one of the best things in life. Being part of these occasions could never be considered work, I’ve found my passion and believe it’s my true vocation.
My photographic style reflects my personality; artistic and romantic. Being a huge fan of the great outdoors, I love to work with nature and the seasons, featuring carpets of bluebells and summer meadows as backdrops to my work.
I've been lucky enough to enjoy this vocation for several years, you are in safe hands. I am a full time wedding photographer, shooting over 300 weddings during this time. And I'm very proud to be a preferred supplier at these local venues: De Vere Wokefield Estate,
Ufton Court, Newbury racecourse, Donnington Valley hotel.
