Ask a question
What is your most memorable wedding?
A Persian wedding where I was flown in to the venue with the bride and groom in a helicopter!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, authentic, honest, clean, natural.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Being able to capture amazing moments that provoke beautiful reactions.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan enough time into your day to be able to escape your guests and enjoy each other.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The sister of the bride performing a rap she had written for her sister.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I think it's really important to meet a couple and discuss what they want and what is important to them. Each wedding is so unique as are the people involved.
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Sunset pictures, the light is amazing and they have usually had food, a drink and feel really relaxed.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Bridesmaid selfie with the bride, groom and vicar.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A sense of humour and a pair of wellies. You can get some beautiful pictures and it is a real moment of your day.
Describe how you got into photography.
I had dipped into photography whilst at school and college and worked at a photography agency as my first job after leaving education. The biggest step was whilst working as a freelance designer with a need for relevant imagery and a lack of budget, so I got stuck in. Did some training, read lots of books, photographed events, photographed families and children, eventually photographing my first wedding in 2011. I have since trained with several of the worlds leading wedding photographers and continue to further my skills and invest in equipment.
