Full Description
  • Your wedding is unique - a one off, never to be repeated day and your photographs should record and reflect this. Before your wedding I will listen to you and get to know what matters to you. All of my packages can changed to suit your needs or I have an A'la Carte option which is completely bespoke. Your pre-wedding shoot is great chance for us to get to know each other and for you to become comfortable in front of the camera. We will practice poses that suit you and make sure that we get the best photographs at the wedding in the shortest possible time allowing you to spend more time with your friends and family. All couples receive their images as digital files and a book or album. Digital images will corrupt and fail over time but printed images last forever - I want your memories to last beyond your lifetime and be enjoyed by your children and grandchildren.

FAQ
(10)
What is your most memorable wedding?
The wettest wedding you have ever seen! Despite the rain it was beautiful, romantic, funny and emotional - an amazing day. http://video214.com/play/P21p11NxZyfHSjKIF17ygA/s/dark
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, relaxed, fun, light and airy.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The ethics - do no harm, put people first. As my Nan used to say "It's nice to be important but more important to be nice".
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Write a realistic time line and build in extra time for delays - everything takes longer on a wedding day. Don't forget to tell people where they need to be, what they need to do and what time it all happens.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A quiz about the couple designed to make guests mingle and chat.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We chat by email or telephone and then meet for a cuppa and a chat. If this goes well we plan the pre-wedding shoot. After the pre-wedding shoot we relax with a drink and plan the shoot list and time line for the wedding. After the wedding I deliver the images within 4 weeks - usually less.
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A simple portrait of them at their venue - timeless and will be loved by their children and grandchildren.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
There's a fashion now for special effects and for things to be "photoshopped in ". I have created an explosion for a client but it isn't something I would expect to be asked often!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
White umbrellas - I always have a few with me as they don't clash with any colour scheme.
Describe how you got into photography.
Same as everyone else - I started using my grandfather's camera and the rest is history!
