Whether it’s stunning traditional posed photos or compelling photojournalist images, photos taken on a creative impulse or carefully crafted for posterity, I’ll make it happen. If it’s needed I’ll provide gentle, unobtrusive artistic direction. Sometimes there are moments that are never to be repeated, that can’t be posed or directed, they just happen. They make being a wedding photographer more than just a picture maker. You will see both photojournalist images where I’ve simply placed myself in the right place at the right time and captured the moment, and images where I’ve directed my couples to be in the right place at the right time.

What is your most memorable wedding?
A wedding I shot in Tuscany, Italy
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Elegant, natural, fun, enjoyable, professional
What about your business are you most proud of?
Every single wedding I've photographed
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Allow plenty of time, especially for getting ready.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
White British groom marrying Indian bride. The bride walked down the aisle to find her Groom in full indian clothing. There was a tear or two shed.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
With the bride at preparations. If possible the groom, also. Then photograph the day throughout. I photograph unobtrusively, but also do any group shots requested and a bride and groom photoshoot.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Bride and Groom together with bride holding flowers, both looking at camera. Full length and close up. It's a classic that everyone will want in farme. After that we can get totally creative.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The bridal party group shot where the groom's first wife was bridesmaid to the bride he was marrying. And, I shot the first wedding!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Award winning photographs in the rain.
Describe how you got into photography.
Portraiture clients asking me to photograph their weddings. Eventually I did one, now here I am, 600+ weddings later.
