What is your most memorable wedding?

I captured a wedding for a couple who live in Mauritius but cam back to the UK to have their wedding. It was held at Hambleton Hall in Oakham. I recall the champagne flowing from dusk till dawn! What remember most was the brides reaction when she viewed her album. It brought tears of joy and she gave me a big hug. A wedding I will always remember.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

beautiful, modern, documentary,friendly, non-invasive

What about your business are you most proud of?

How much I put into capturing a couples day and the amount of images I give them.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Champagne....Give you guests good bubbles!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Father of the bride walking his daughter down the aisle and refusing to do it in his wheel chair

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After a couple decide to book me to capture their day I ask them to compile a list of group shots. I ask them what they like and do not like. I get to know what must have photographs they want. We speak or meet up before the wedding day and walk through the day. Its a great way too of getting to know each other.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Confetti shot....Confetti supplied by the bride and groom (not many people bring their own) and given to everybody to throw. Its a great shot after the service.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A pair of Nike trainers worn by the groom and the brides leopard skin high heels pictured together! It did make a great shot and memory.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Well I always bring with me studio style flash just in case it does rain and we have to stay in doors. It gives everybody a nice glow.

Describe how you got into photography.

In 2000 whilst studying photography I was asked to photograph a wedding. They loved the images I did for them and that was it.
