Ask a question
What is your most memorable wedding?
One from the summer of 2017, it was time for speeches and the father of the bride burst into song, followed by the mother, followed by all the guests. It was magical to say the least and sounded amazing!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, simple, beautiful, detailed and fun
What about your business are you most proud of?
I have done it all on my own, started with no help or advice
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
secure the important aspects of the day quickly, suppliers get booked up fast
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Anything handmade
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I will happily answer any questions, then when the couple are ready, they can secure their date with me. The next step is to book a consultation where we got through all the details of their wedding day. I contact my couple around a month before to double check details, then the week before, just to say hi. I capture the day, say goodbye to my couple, put a sneak peek on my page for them within 2 days and then inform them when their images are uploaded to their private online gallery. Depending on what they choose, is whether we discuss albums, books etc.
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The first time the groom sees the bride
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A friend of the bride brushing her teeth (making a mess of it)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas and boots (if couple are happy to go outside)
Describe how you got into photography.
A general career conversation with my nan, she suggested it because i've always liked to take pictures
