A beautiful barn wedding, with a relaxed vibe and gorgeous sunshine.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Classical, timeless, natural, relaxed, informal.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Customer service from start to end, and photos with a timeless feel which can be treasured forever.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't get caught up in the details, let your photographer capture the atmosphere of your day rather than lots of group and detail shots.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Grandpa doing the bride's hair
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I'm happy to meet with you before you choose your photographer, either at a wedding fair or for a coffee - its important to get along as we will spend a lot of time together! If you would like a pre-wedding shoot we can arrange that for a month or so before the wedding. On the day I will blend in and capture lots of different moments, and your gallery will be ready once your photos are beautifully processed.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Portraits after the ceremony are important - you can spend some time alone together whilst I capture that "just married" feeling. The portraits don't need to be staged or posed, I capture you together in the surroundings of your venue, walking and chatting and having a kiss.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The groom ringing wedding bells in the church
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Enjoy it! Grab a brolly and dance in the rain.
Describe how you got into photography.
I've always loved wedding photography above all other types of photography - the love and joy, the need for calmness and professionalism, and the whole journey from planning to album.
