What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take the time to sit down with your photographer and go through your timings, they often have a lot of experience and can offer you some great insight and ideas into creating the perfect wedding day timeline. Making sure that you get to spend time with your guests, some time alone with your other half and some time to get some great photographs.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A couple who got married on their parents and their grandparents wedding anniversary, and made sure all were a part of the celebration too.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Usually it starts with an email or call then we meet and discuss what they are hoping for before booking. I am always on hand to offer suggestions give names of suppliers I can recommend and have even helped couples find the venue of their dreams before!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A quiet moment alone after the ceremony and after the speeches - it is when everyone is relaxed the most and usually the light is perfect so we get the best images, it is also nice to have that moment alone together!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
One of the bride & groom jumping on a massive trampoline - with me on it as well!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Relax and enjoy yourself so long as we have an umbrella we can still get great images and you will still have a wonderful day!
Describe how you got into photography.
I am a third generation photographer, my father and his father before me were photographers and my mother is an artist so creativity runs in my family.
