- I'm an alternative & magical wedding photographer (and Harry Potter enthusiast) based in Essex, but I travel anywhere for a good wedding! Lately I've been to France, Oxford, Gloucestershire, Brigton & Yorkshire for awesome weddings. I personally love DIY weddings, festival weddings, barn weddings & I'm a massive fan of humanist ceremonies. Basically if you're throwing away that boring wedding rulebook (and satin chaircovers) then get in touch because we'll get on! I'd describe my style and approach as relaxed, informal, documentary photography with some fun & quirky portraits too. I won't make you or your guests stand and say cheese for hours. I'd rather be a part of your wedding, getting involved and taking photos along the way - infact a lot of guests ask me if we've been friends for ages as I get on well with everyone and always smile, which is the biggest compliment! When it comes to the evening reception I'm also right up in that dance floor! I offer full day photography from £1500 however discounts are available on mid-week weddings, elopements and weddings on my super fun bucket list. If you like what you hear and think we'd be a perfect match get in touch for some more info - we can have an informal skype chat or meet up for tea. cake or cocktails!

What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Meet/chat to your suppliers (particularly photographer) first and make sure you get on well with them and that they totally get your vision!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love all the handmade touches I see at weddings - that attention to detail is awesome!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
You enquire - we skype or meet for a drink if your local - you decide if you love me or not - if you do I do a little dance and you pay a non-refundable booking fee - if you've added an e-shoot we will do this between then and the wedding - you can email me whenever you like for advice, recomendations, share your pinterest board etc - 4-6 weeks before the date we'll skype or meet again and go over the timeline and specific photos - I turn up for the wedding, we have an epic day, you guys look totally amazing and I take freakin' rad photos - a few days later I'll send you a preview - then 6-8 weeks later you get your full gallery and USB stick - then we stay friends forever and meet up for drinks and food (if you want, you don't have to but I stay in touch and hang out with lots of my couples still!)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
