Full Description
Are you looking for a non-traditional wedding photographer to document your big day? Search no more. I'm Hannah - a Dorset based Photographer with a very non traditional photography approach. I shoot all over the UK and worldwide. I like the unconventional, the extra-ordinary, the ROCK 'N' ROLL. Beards. Bikes. Dogs. Black Wedding Dresses. Leather Jackets and Doc Martens. Tattoos. Alternative Weddings. Queer. Fairy Lights. Vegetarian & Vegan Weddings. Quirky & Geeky. Sustainable & Eco-Friendly. Elopements & Small Weddings. Outdoor & Destination Weddings. Simply anything non-tradition! And as long as there is love, we can create some magical pictures. - My photography style is a storytelling documentary. I capture the raw, authentic, romantic and messy moments of your day. I try to keep it simple but creative. I'll laugh and I'll cry with you. My editing style is moody - but warm and with a lot of heart and soul!

What is your most memorable wedding?

Literally all weddings are memorable. Every wedding I shot was unique and beautiful - each with their own memorable moments. I couldn't pick one favourite moment at all.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Moody, candid, adventurous, relaxed and non-traditional

What about your business are you most proud of?

My journey so far - I never imagined that my photography business would grow as much within 1 year.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

It's your BIG day - not the big day of your guests. Do whatever you want and don't worry about fulfilling other people's expectations.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Ugh - such a hard question again. But one of my favourite touches is pictures of loved ones that can't be there on the day.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After your initial message, we'll be meeting up for a cuppa or schedule a Skype conversation to ensure we click. If yes, I'll be sorting out the paperwork (which is actually all paperless for you and all online) and we'll choose a date for your engagement shoot which is included in my main packages. Before your wedding, you'll receive a questionnaire to fill in with all the important details of the day and we'll have a quick chat about 1.5 days before the big day! After your wedding, you'll receive a sneak peek with about 15-20 pictures within 7 days. And the whole gallery will be ready latest 8 weeks after your big day!

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Sunset Shots

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Don't be afraid of the rain and get a rain shot!!! They're incredible!

Describe how you got into photography.

Photography has always played a big part in my life, but only after becoming a mum, I’ve realised how important it is to capture all those precious moments not only with my phone. So I bought myself a nice DSLR, taught myself how to use it properly (yes, even in the dreaded MANUAL mode) and completely fell in love with photography. I can't imagine doing anything else in my life anymore: it is my dream job.
