I take a lot of pride in my personal approach to your wedding. I take the time to get to know you both as a couple which is so important as on the big day we will spend so much time together. It is essential to connect with your photographer. We will meet at your venue and go through your plans for the day and put together a time line so we all know where we need to be on the day, this makes such a difference to the smooth running of things. I will be on hand all day to capture those moments as they happen, sometimes things you don't even know happened. I then produce a stunning set of images all individually edited which when looked at will evoke all those feelings and special memories of the day. My aim is to make you cry! (in a good way!) This lovely bride says it all... "Wow, what can we say? We knew Fiona was excellent after we saw our friend's wedding photographs and knew we had made the right decision when we first met with Fiona to discuss our 'big day'. Fiona (and Sue) was a pleasure to be around and she managed to capture all of the key photos we asked for despite our chaotic families! :-D We have now had the chance to sit down and look at the photos. They are fantastic and tell the story of the day perfectly; we couldn't have asked or hoped for more. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fiona for your special day – professional and talented, but also very easy to be around and makes you feel at ease. Fiona also has an eye for capturing extra-special moments – such as Mother of the Bride jumping on the bed!! We really had a wonderful day, and can treasure the memories through our fab photos. Thank you so much Fiona, and here's to your own big day! x"

Hi, Thank you for looking at my profile. I have been a wedding photographer in Dorset for 9 years now and loved every minute of it. I have worked with some amazing couples many of whom I have stayed in touch with and have come back to me with their babies to photograph over the years. I have recently got married myself which was amazing. I would love to meet up with you for a coffee and show you some of my wedding albums, drop me a line and we can talk weddings!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Timeless, classic, beautiful, unobtrusive, friendly
What about your business are you most proud of?
My ability to put people at ease.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy every moment, it goes so quickly. Allow enough time in the day to spend with your nearest and dearest.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Photos of each guest with the bride or groom at their place setting.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We meet initially to talk about your wedding, I am a details person and love a good wedding story. We will meet again nearer the time at the venue and discuss options and locations for group shots and couple shots depending on where the light will be, what time is sunset etc. We put together a time line for the day to ensure everything runs smoothly and you have nothing to worry about on the day. You leave the rest to me and just enjoy!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A moment of sincerity captured between the couple when no one is watching (or so they think!)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
pretty wellies, umbrellas and smiles. It will not ruin your day one bit!
