Ask a question
What is your most memorable wedding?
An outdoor wedding at Castle Ward (where they film Game of Thrones) in Downpatrick. The bride and groom signed on the dotted line and then climbed off the pier... into a home made canoe to paddle across to the reception. Thankfully they made it without any wet feet!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, enjoyable, unobtrusive, sincere, detailed.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Being given the opportunity to document one of the most important days of your life to share for years to come.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make a wedding file and slowly work through everything, don't try to tackle it all at once. Always remember to keep relaxed.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Disney ice sculptures on every table. Very cool... literally.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
A relaxed chat to go over the details and then I'm never far away to answer any questions or concerns, both before and on the day.
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
It's nice to get a group photo of everyone, even if it can be difficult to have everyone in the same place at the same time!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The bride holding Thor's hammer and the groom trying to defend himself with Captain America's shield. That was a fun day.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
An umbrella and a few minutes outside can get some great photos, but if not then there are normally plenty of indoor locations to use as plan b.
Describe how you got into photography.
My Grandfather bought me a camera when I was about 11 years old and I've never looked back.
