- As a documentary wedding photographer, my approach is all about storytelling. For most of the day my focus will be on candid photography; mingling with your guests to capture them at their most natural and all of the emotion of the day. I’ll also make sure I have plenty of shots of all of the beautiful details you put so much time into. Of course, I also take group shots (no one wants to suffer the wrath of their parents/grandparents not having a lovely picture for the mantlepiece) and we’ll go on a bit of a wander for some more creative couple photos that really get across your personality. My aim is to never take you away from your guests for too long though – you have a lot of drinking, eating and laughing to do with them. There are no image limits when you book me – you receive every viable, edited image, so you are sure you’ve got the whole story.

What is your most memorable wedding?
For me, while I absolutely love gorgeous venues, unusual outfits and beautiful details, my favourite weddings are the ones where you can just feel the joy coming from the couple and their guests.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
natural, candid, fun, modern, authentic
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Meet up with your suppliers - they may look good online, but, personality counts for a lot when you'll be spending so much time with them before/on the day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I love to meet a couple before the big day - it's great to meet up over a drink and talk through your plans and get to know each other better, I want you to feel like I'm another friend at the wedding, not a stranger there doing a job!
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I absolutely love the first kiss shot.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Bring some umbrellas, if it's at all possible, it's always fun to get some shots outside, even if the weather isn't cooperating. But, of course, we can find lots of indoor locations for group shots.
