Hello! My name’s Hayley and I am an artistic documentary style wedding photographer based in the Northwest. I absolutely love photographing weddings; I think I have the best job in the world. To me there is something magical about being able to capture love stories through my photographs, and to know that those stories I have captured will be looked at over and over again for years to come. I’d describe my style as creative, relaxed and a little bit quirky. I like to think of myself as an artist as much as a photographer; my passion for taking a photograph is to capture and preserve life in the most beautiful way possible.

What is your most memorable wedding?
My favourite wedding ever was at the National Wildflower centre. The couple had a boho DIY wedding with lots of personal touches, and they had their blessing in a beautiful field of wildflowers
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Artistic, relaxed, natural, reportage, boho
What about your business are you most proud of?
All of the lovely testimonials and reviews I have received from my happy couples, many of whom are now friends!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't stress about the small stuff, the main thing on the day is that all the people you love are there having a good old knees up
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love to photograph weddings that are a bit boho and DIY, so I've seen lots of interesting personal touches. One of the most memorable was when the bride and groom gave brightly coloured sunglasses out to all of the guests, each one with a personalised message on
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My process with couples is really just to get to know each couple as well as possible before the wedding, so that on the day I am there as a friend and not a stranger with a camera.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The one where the groom looks at the bride and there is SO much love in his eyes. You can't pose stuff like that!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The couple were rock climbers and asked to be photographed hanging off some rocks. As you do
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Just get out there and get wet. Dance in the rain. The photos will be epic
Describe how you got into photography.
I've been a bit obsessed with photography all my life, but after following a 'safe career' for most of my 20s, I finally took the leap to follow my dream of becoming a professional wedding photographer. And I'm so glad I did, I LOVE it!
