What is your most memorable wedding?
They are all memorable, I have too many personal favorites to choose from. I did a shoot at Pineapple Studios recently, and that was quite an experience working at a venue which has appeared on so many famous movies, it was great fun!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, Arty, Romantic, Light, Pastel
What about your business are you most proud of?
I feel chuffed when I receive feedback from my clients, as it reminds me I'm doing a good job & providing a service which is truly appreciated.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay calm & enjoy every moment
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A home made cake, personally made by the groom, to his bride
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Firstly, I like to find out all about the couple & their day, to see if we're a good match. I'll ask lots of questions & take lots of notes, to make sure I don't miss a thing. Then, assuming the couple are happy to confirm the booking, I require a 20% deposit to save the date.
I then meet the couple again close to the wedding for a coffee, ideally at the venue, so we can build up a bit of a relationship before the big day, and go over the final details.
On the day, I tend to work in the background, except for the big shots, like confetti, portraits & family group shots.
After the event, I spend quite a bit of time editing & then supply all of the images on a beautiful bespoke USB stick.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Confetti Tunnels are the greatest :)
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A random photo of the Mother of the brides hat, it kind of worked!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A really cool umbrella, for some outdoor portraits
Describe how you got into photography.
I fell in love with another photographers work, and it inspired me to do something more creative with my time
