Truly the Best Photographer
Ian is an amazing, genuine and kind character. He made sure to take mine and my wife’s wishes into account at every moment of our big day and nothing was too much hassle,...
Married in May 2016
Just WOW. Our wedding photos turned out better than imagined. The fact that he dangled out of a top floor window of the Castle to get our perfect group photo says it all!...
What is your most memorable wedding?
One wedding the reception was on the Oldenburg - rather memorable! Another wedding on a farm, that was rather fun! All weddings are special and memorable - too many to mention!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Adaptive, Colourful, Creative, Different, Timeless
What about your business are you most proud of?
Not going with the crowd - there are so many photographers applying in-fashion filters to their photos that in years to come will be out of fashion - my photographs are timeless and will stand the test of time. They're still modern, creative photographs but with all of the colour - no washed out colours here!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take your time on finding the right photographer who you'll get on with - you'll be spending a large part of your day close to them!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Photo walls are good - both displaying photographs of their childhood, family etc... makes for something nice for guests to look at and for them to see your story.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Photographer meets couple, couple fall in love with photographer, couple books photographer, photographer photographs wedding, they live happily ever after...
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A large group shot is a must - everyone from the day is there and you can look back on it for years to come.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas, Wellies and an adventurous spirit - lets go out and take some awesome photographs!
Describe how you got into photography.
It's always been a love since a little boy playing with grandparents old cameras - it grew from there.
