I am a female lifestyle photographer that wants to make you smile. My style is fun, romantic and contemporary. I love natural light and relaxed, natural poses that flatter my subject, although I may occasionally need to flash you! I LOVE weddings and almost always end up a bit glassy-eyed during the ceremony! After months or sometimes years, of planning, saving and dreaming about your event, you want it to be perfect; your moments captured to cherish forever. My approach is relaxed, fun and non-intrusive to enable you to get back to your guests and celebrate. I work with each couple to ensure I capture their unique moments. My most popular wedding package is £795, but I have packages starting from £395 to £995 so there is something to suit every couple and their budget!
Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Jenny Beckett
Hi there! I’m Jenny Beckett but you can call me JB, and JB Moments Photography is my dream job. When you hire me to photograph your wedding, you aren’t just hiring me to photograph you in all your finery. You are enlisting me to help you remember fleeting moments and feelings you just can’t put into words. That feeling when you see each other for the first time on the day. That moment when your dad gives you away and your two families join together through your union.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Probably my first one back in 2016 when Photography was still my side hustle. I felt totally honoured that I'd been asked to capture the memories from the day of a good friend and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I knew then that I wanted this to be my full-time job.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fun, Contemporary, Romantic, Unintrusive, Beautiful
What about your business are you most proud of?
The feedback I get from couples and their guests saying that my friendly and fun approach puts them at ease.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Set a budget and then decide what things are most important to you and skip/make savings on the things that aren't top of your priorities.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The table names were just numbers but when you got to the tables they had photos of the couple at that age e.g. one, two, etc. So cute!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couples often book months if not years in advance so I like to keep in regular contact so they don't think I've run off with their booking fee! About a month before the wedding I reach out to arrange a face to face consultation with the couple so we can go through the order of the day and agree a shot list of 'must haves'. I will also visit the venue beforehand. On the day I try to be as unobtrusive as possible except during the group shots where I have to get a little bit bossy! I also carry an emergency bridal kit with me that holds all sorts from stain remover to safety pins to blister plasters!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A natural relaxed portrait of the pair of them enjoying a quiet moment after they have said I do.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Every wedding has an original element that's what makes them personal and special to each couple.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Being a Scottish Photographer I always expect rain at some point so I always bring bridal umbrellas with me to get some couple/wedding party shots outside. Having visited the venue/s beforehand as well I always have a plan B for rainy day photos
Describe how you got into photography.
I got my first film camera aged eight and was hooked from then on. I spent 20 years as a banker enjoying photography on the side until I decided life was too short and I wanted to spend every day doing something I love.
