I’m Jodie and I’ve been photographing weddings for over 15 years now. My passion started at a young age working alongside my super talented Dad in his photography studio. Having captured many different styles of photography, it was in my mid 20’s I realised my true passion for wedding portrait photography and created Jodie Hurd Photography. Photographing people and their emotions has always been my thing, even in my teens it's what I would spend my time doing, documenting my friends. Now, an award-winning wedding photographer with over 15 years in the industry and hundreds of beautiful couples photographs I’ve found my true happy place!

I cannot recommend Jodie enough. From the first meeting we had on zoom we knew that Jodie was exactly who we wanted, and needed! Jodie was so easy to get on with and we loved the fact that she was more about the natural shots than posed/organised. When it came to the day, she was absolutely incredible- so much more than a photographer too! Throughout the day, on more than one occasion, Jodie was arranging my veil, my dress, my hair; she knew the best places to go to work with the weather.

Where do we start with this absolute diamond... Jodie is the ninja wedding photographer... every photo you didn't realise you wanted she comes up with the goods. We are eternally grateful for the precious moments she caught at our wedding, those memories she captured will last a life time with us. We have a huge soft spot for Jodie and that will never change because she caught our fairytale day and bottled it up for us... thankyou a million times over.

Jodie is just the most amazing photographer

Jodie is just the most amazing photographer! She was one of the best decisions of our wedding. As soon as we met Jodie, we knew she’d be great at capturing our day. She was friendly and easy to chat to. Throughout the wedding organisation, she was amazing at keeping in touch and really helpful. On the day, she managed to blend in and take the most natural, genuine photos, putting us all at ease and creating the loveliest snapshots of our day. We got a selection of photos a few days after.
