Hi, I'm Jill & I'm a UK based creative Fine Art Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer. My approach is relaxed, artistic and candid. Using natural light & a creative eye, I aim to provide elegant, natural, timeless images you can cherish always. I believe that your photography should be an integral part of the enjoyment of your wedding day, without taking anything away from the most sacred elements like your ceremony, mixing with your guests and dancing the night away. I aim to ensure that it fits in beautifully and seamlessly and in a way that you cherish, not only at the time but forever after.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Aaaah, there are so many. From couples who've celebrated mid-ceremony by having tequila shots with their bridal party and ended their day with fire-performers, to beautiful quaint DIY village halls and tiny cocker spaniels round our feet, I tend to get a real eclectic mix of styles and I love the fact that I do. All of my couples are memorable to me in their own ways.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Romantic, candid, artistic, natural, light.
What about your business are you most proud of?
My testimonials from former clients. They are always so warm and it feels wonderful to provide people with images that they feel so happy with.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start early & allow plenty of time for you on the morning of. Make sure you have time to relax before your ceremony.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Dogs at weddings. Every time. Dogs. Also handtied florals, beautiful use of flowers is always stunning. Mostly when couples make it their own.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I don't really believe in this type of thing. Every couple and every wedding is unique and repeating certain types of photographs with every couple isn't in keeping with my style or approach. It really is up to the couple which images are a must for their own personal day.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Nothing other than to go with it. Rain can be just as romantic as sunshine and in fact, can sometimes be better. It can create a lovely dewy romantic mist in images and I always have my trusty off-white victorian umbrella to hand if it's needed. Being a wedding photographer in Scotland generally means that weather, no matter what it's doing, doesn't faze you.
