Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
intimate, bright, soft, timeless & relaxed
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm a pretty chilled out person & am often told by clients (and friends!) that I'm a calming influence. This is a quality I'm most proud of and value deeply within my business. I always want those around me to feel a positive and relaxed energy. This has proven to be invaluable when it comes to my photography & capture moments authentically.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't let traditions and rules become more important than what YOU want for your day. Do it your way & enjoy the process!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The wedding day & the wedding photos should always be about who the couple are. I approach the photos in an organic way so that the moments can unfold naturally in front of the camera. With only a little bit of gentle direction when needed, I prefer to keep things as natural as possible - no stiff poses here!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I don't believe in there being a set shot list every couple should follow. Each wedding day is different & beautiful in it's own way & so I believe you shouldn't worry about any "must have" photos - just enjoy your day & all the photos will be precious to you because they'll be a true representation of it!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Rain doesn't have to throw a spanner in the works for your photos! I always come prepared with clear umbrellas for smaller group shots and couple portraits. If your venue has space for indoor group shots, it's always helpful to have that as a back up!
