Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Dean Shea
Although this is my first year of weddings, I am very confident, proud and put a lot of time into my work. I would very much like to shoot your wedding and create special memories that will last a lifetime for you and your family. I feel photography is one of the most important aspects of a wedding its the part that captures the memories of that day that you can hold on to.

What is your most memorable wedding?

My own, of course... But working at one, probably at the Inn on the Lake (Ullswater), extremely hot day, it was a friends wedding and I was shooting a video for them. Once we were all done a group of us jumped in the lake, a much needed cool down.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Candid, Documented, Natural, Informal posed & Amazing

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud of all the shoots I've booked and done over the last 6/7 months since opening.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Try to make a list or plan of how the day pans out, its easier for everyone to work towards.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to have a chat via email, phone or in person. Then I’ll have a formal consultation with them to discuss the big day, if they like and it’s possible we can meet at the venue to discuss in more detail. I will shoot their wedding as planned then with in approximately six weeks their images will be done, they’ll be online in a private album for them to view only and then we’ll have a post wedding viewing session to discuss any additional purchases they may like.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Just them two, alone having a minute to reflect on the day.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrellas, or try to find a lovely indoor section of your venue. Have a plan b.

Describe how you got into photography.

I have done landscape photography for around 10 years then shifted my focus to people and event's, around the same time I got married.
