Kayleigh Adams Photography Full Description
FUN. BRIGHT. COLOURFUL. ROMANTIC. I'm a documentary wedding photographer based in The Cotswolds. I specialise in beautiful imagery that makes you smile, laugh, and allows you to remember every single moment of your wedding day. My aim is always to make you feel relaxed on your wedding day, as well as the lead up to it. I want you to enjoy all of the details, while I document it for you to look back on for years to come. I can honestly say that love what I do, and I put my passion into every single wedding that I have the pleasure of photographing. I take on a limited number of weddings per year which gives me to give the time and attention that each wedding deserves. If you're looking for someone who will blend in, work calmly and professionally around you and your guests, who will capture all of the 'big moments', who can be there when needed but also know when to give you five minutes to breathe and 'take it all in', then I would LOVE to hear from you.

Kayleigh made us feel totally at ease!
We had a pre-shoot with Kayleigh and she was absolutely wonderful! Both my fiancé and I were quite nervous and self conscious about being photographed but Kayleigh made us feel totally at ease. She chatted away and was so friendly we soon forgot that we were there for the shoot, it just felt like catching up with a friend. Communication with Kayleigh coming up to the shoot was great and she was very flexible around our needs and schedules. We received a few sneak peaks the afternoon after our shoot, and within a week we received the full photo package, the photos were gorgeous and really natural which is just what we wanted. Couldn't recommend Kayleigh enough, such a genuine lovely girl, and most importantly (for once) we felt comfortable in front of the camera! Thank you again Kayleigh, we will definitely be keeping you in mind for the wedding!

Such a professional lady and so friendly!
Absolutely amazing! Kayleigh is so lovely and did such a brilliant job on our wedding day! She stepped in at the last minute as our photographer cancelled less than 2 weeks before our day! Kayleigh saved the day and we had a long conversation on the phone where Kayleigh listened to the things that were important to us. On the day Kayleigh used her creative ability to take some beautiful photos around the beautiful buildings of bath. Such a professional lady and so friendly! Thank you Kayleigh!

I have never known a photographer as professional
Kayleigh Adams, What can we say???? Your skills as a photographer along with your ability to fit into the background are just superb. I have never known a photographer as professional and understanding as you were for both Sarah's and my big day as well as the build up to the wedding. We really can't wait for the pictures to be produced especially after seeing what a fantastic job you did with the few early releases you did last week. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, and also take this opportunity to tell everyone they should use you and not even consider anyone else. Fantastic.

Both my husband...
Both my husband and I were dreading having to have photographs at our wedding as we are both camera shy, however Kayleigh put us at ease straight away and was so calm and lovely about her approach. She doesn't have a smidgen of the 'bossy photographer' personality that you kind of expect. She was a breath of fresh air and we even forgot that she was there, which in honesty made me concerned that the photos wouldn't be great but I was wrong they are outstanding! We recommend her to everyone!

Kayleigh was brilliant on our wedding day...
Kayleigh was brilliant on our wedding day. She was friendly, approachable and confident. She went above and beyond her job by helping me put my veil on as I left the house due to me running late and not having bridesmaids to help as they'd already gone to the church. She took many photos of which I'm yet to see as we only got married a week ago. The sample photos she has sent us are amazing! Natural shots which were just what we wanted as neither of us like being in front of the camera.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Every wedding is memorable for it's own reasons. One wedding that springs to mind is a Summer wedding in 2016. The couple had arranged for two golf buggies to meet us outside the reception venue, so that when the sun started setting, we could cruise around the vast venue grounds to get some gorgeous shots of them together!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Fun, Relaxed, Natural, Real & Bright.

What about your business are you most proud of?

Many things make me proud, but receiving feedback from my clients after they've seen their images is an amazing feeling! Also being announced as a regional finalist for The Wedding Industry Awards 20717 was a huge highlight!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't stress about the 'small things'. Remember, the day you are planning is a celebration of your relationship together, and it's really important that this is a reflection of you both. If something isn't quite 'perfect' on the day, no-one is going to know or think any less of you!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I see so many at every wedding, but one that springs to mind is when one of my couples provided each guest a 'Marie Curie' badge, which doubled as a donation to the charity. This was in remembrance of the brides Father who had sadly passed away.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Usually this starts with a simple email or enquiry through my website. I ask for your wedding date and venue, which allows me to check whether I am available or not. If I am available, then I will answer any questions you may have (either via email or phone to suit you). If you'd prefer to meet in person and you're not too far away, we can arrange an informal chat (usually over coffee & cake!). If you decide that you would like to book me, I will send you a contract and booking form, along with details to pay the 25% deposit. The next time you hear from me will be to arrange your pre-shoot (if you have booked the full-day package this is complimentary, if you have booked the half-day package you will opt to book a pre-shoot). Roughly a month before the wedding you will hear from me again asking for some final details about the wedding. This allows me to put together a timeline to work to, to ensure that nothing is missed. During the wedding itself I am discreet, approachable and friendly, capturing real moments as and when they happen. After the wedding, a few 'sneak peeks' go live on my Facebook page so that you can share with friends and family on your online profile. You can expect to receive your USB of images approximately 3-4 weeks after the wedding (but don't worry, I update you on how the editing is going so you know exactly when you will receive your images).

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Every photograph taken at a wedding is important, but one I always endeavour to take is a big group shot of every single person you have at the wedding. So often guests can spill off and fall away from the main group, so getting a big group shot of everyone you have at the wedding I think is a great idea - this means that you have at least one image that includes everyone that came to your wedding.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

If it rains, it rains. Are you going to think less of your wedding or is it going to mean less? I'm pretty sure the answer is NO, so my advice if it rains is to just embrace it! The weather will be what it will be and there's not much you can do to change it unfortunately. Why not consider buying some white or colourful umbrellas and having some wellies on hand? This way we can head outside and get some great 'rainy day' shots. This has happened to me so many times, and I can assure you, my couples always love their rainy day pictures!

Describe how you got into photography.

I've always had a fascination with photographs. I can clearly remember being a child and looking through family albums. At weddings I would always be the child that finds the disposable cameras and went round the room taking photographs of people. When I was at school and college a lot of my art work relied heavily on photography. I also worked part time at Jessops, which gave me the knowledge and understanding of cameras and photography equipment. During my degree (in Graphic Design), I worked closely with my tutors who supported and encouraged my photography work too. Getting into 'weddings' was something that happened quite naturally - I am a big romantic at heart and I truly do adore weddings and all that they stand for. I've been shooting weddings professionally full-time for the past 3 years, and grow to love my job more and more each day!
