We all know taking the perfect photograph isn't always easy! There's the lighting, the angle, then that flawless finish look that makes everyone go wow... but I guess that's where I come in! I specialise in weddings, events, newborns and lifestyle portraiture that you can treasure for years to come. No two people ever want the same so I take extra measures to ensure you're experience with myself is one that is as stress-free and relaxed as possible. The most important thing, I find, is ensuring that client's feel like they still have control (after all, it is your memories we are creating!). From my time in a photography studio, I have picked up numerous contacts meaning I can offer my client's a wide range of options; from personalised photo albums to bespoke CD packages your photographs can be printed in just about anyway you like. I take great time in editing the images to your own specification to ensure that they are photographs you will proudly look back on in years to come. All images can be available online to view, allowing other family members or guests the chance to witness your precious moments. I have experience with people of all ages and would like to reassure you that I am as reliable as it comes (no one wants a no show on their wedding day!) Now that I have fully committed myself to following a passion of mine, I can assure you that no job is too big or too small. I am flexible so last minute changes are fine! I also provide discount packages or together we can create a package that is ideal just for you... These are your memories after all...

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Filled with emotional, precious moments

What about your business are you most proud of?

Taking the plunge! I originally decided to do freelance photographer 2 years ago but only part time around my other job. It was hard and I could never put as much time in as I wanted. It was 2 weeks ago that I decided I really disliked my full time job; it was making me unhappy and I really started to hate getting up in the morning. It was then that I quit and told myself to follow my passion. No one else was going to make it happen than myself so here I am, a full time photographer with a new and exciting challenge ahead...

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be yourself! Make sure your day reflects you and don't be easily persuaded by common themes or what all the magazines say. This is your day after all, a day that should highlight the love you have for each other and the memories you have already and will be creating. It's the personal touches people will remember...

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Whenever photographing couples, my main aim is to ensure they still have the control- it is their big day after all. My job is just to guide them to making the right decision for them. From first hiring, to the last purchase I ensure my clients feel at ease. I will get to know the couple and the style of images they want before their big day, that way not only am I organised but the Bride and Groom are assured they will be getting the style they want. I ensure that I use take as many pictures as possible and try and get images of all the guests- that way the couple can look back on their day and remember who were part of it.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There's nothing like a photo that captures that overwhelming love between two people. My go to shot is one of the Bride and Groom facing each other; the Groom will either be kissing their new wife on the forehead or the Bride will have her cheek resting on her husbands chest. Both photos deliver that perfect shot which is simply filled with love and emotion.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Most weddings I photograph normally have their own stand out image but there is one that springs to mind... It was one of the first weddings I photographed and the bride requested that I take a picture of her and her bridesmaid's bottoms (strange I know). They all bent over and showed off their pink knickers, embellished with bright pink sequins saying 'wife' and 'bridesmaids'! It certainly was different but made for a good image! Definitely something out the movies!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Don't let it worry you! Trust me, most photographers will agree with me here; some of the best photographs are taken when its overcast. We don't have to worry about unwanted lighting or glare. Also I have a man (or lady) with a brolly so you don't need to worry about getting wet!
