- Wedding photographer based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. We are offering a free pre-shoot for every Bride and Groom. Let's make sure you will know how to pose and get your best shot before your big day. You will have enough to worry about on that day. It's not easy preparing everything and getting everything organised, the last this you want to worry about is the photographer. So we look at this differently and we spend a lot of time on the prep, and as a result we go out on a practice shoot, not only to get you used to being in front of a camera, but to play with some shots and different angles to see what you like and what you would prefer to avoid. They say preparation is the key to all success, so we include this service, just to ensure we know what we all want to achieve. We want to capture your day in the same way you felt, amazing, glamorous and feeling a million dollars. Please do contact us, if you want to discuss your big day.

What is your most memorable wedding?
They all are, as it always feels like I'm working with friends. It just doesn't go well when it part of a routine.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fun, detailed, emotional, thoughtful and involved
What about your business are you most proud of?
I don't shoot 100's of wedding, and as such it's never just another job. I'm always thinking of how I can add a special and personal element that captures the bride and groom personality.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Spend some time with your photographer and go through the plan with them. They need to be as aware of the event as any of the bridesmaids, so they can capture every element and seamlessly just be their, capturing the big, and little moments that make your day special and memorable forever.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I like an interesting theme, a theme that really captures the personality of the couple. It doesn't have to be extravigent, but it always has to be thoughtful.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
It all start with sharing ideas, probably over a coffee (or Tea) and talking about the day. Then a pre shoot to see what works, what you like and in some cases, what you want to avoid. Then the rehearsal, and a quick reveal of pictures gathered so far. I also encourage my couples to start a Pinterest board (or two) and capture the things they like, which often gives me ideas on the types of images they like. Helping me to reflect that style.
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
It differs from couple to couple, but I like to capture a personal romantic moment.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
One picture stands out, as its one I use a lot in promotional material and on my website. It is a night shot, just after sunset capturing the couple in silhouette, while they lean in for a kiss. It was an image I planned, but even I was surprised at how well it came out.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Have a plan, have fun with it. We live in a very green country, so rain is just as likely as a sunny day. As such I look for a space we can use in the event of it raining. In the church is often the easiest solution, or at the venue, or a fun little hide away.
Describe how you got into photography.
My Mum and Dad have been professional photographers all their life and as such I've been talking pictures since I was 8 years old. I was able to develop my old black and white pictures at 10, and I helped teach my friends at school as I knew more than the art teacher who was taking the class. It has been a life long hobby, and I love every thing about it.
