Full Description
- For me, wedding photography is about humanity and simply put, people, being people. Of course, it's about the love between the couple, but it's also much more than that. I like to think that images can be made in split seconds. A situation where a relatively normal moment is unfolding can be made into a very powerful image just by the shift of the eyes, or a little touch of the fingertips, a knowing wink or a smile. I see my role at a wedding, really, to observe and preserve. There's nothing more satisfying to me than providing a collection of photographs that can make someone laugh, cry and simply provide memories of loved ones and precious moments for years to come. With my all day wedding collection I’m your photographer for as long as you wish on your big day, so that the entire story is reflected in my images from beginning to end. Beautiful moments can happen at any time during your special day and I will be there to capture every one of them for you in my own discrete and totally respectful way. If you are interested in having high quality wedding photos, I could tell your wedding day story and make a significant contribution to the story of your life. To do so would be a huge honour for me. Please feel free to take a look at my website and if you think my style of wedding photography is for you, please just drop me a line… Thank you for considering me, Mark

What is your most memorable wedding?
Kerry & Reece's Woodhall Manor wedding in Suffolk... beautiful wedding, lovely people, great atmosphere and lots of great photo opportunities... oh and the wedding cake tasted amazing
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, Emotional, Relaxed, Timeless, Unobtrusive
What about your business are you most proud of?
I set no time limits with my full day wedding package...so no leaving when the cake is cut or after the first dance....I'm your photographer for as long as you wish on your special day
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
It's cliche to say but your wedding photos are for life... whether you choose me or not make sure your photographer matches your vision for your special day
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I think it has to a couple who made their own wedding rings....a unique and personal touch
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I believe that the photographer is not at a wedding to dominate the day so finding the balance between telling the wedding day story in a discrete and unobtrusive matter and creative shots with the couple that I trust they will treasure for a lifetime is important
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Each wedding is unique and as such there will be different special moments for each couple. Its not about working to a formula and taking a must have photo...its about making it personal and special.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A private and personal moment where the bride chose to breast feed her baby just after the wedding ceremony. The groom was present throughout and the image was tastefully shot using natural light from the window of an old Abbey in Norfolk where the service was held.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrella's.....seriously. A little bit of rain shouldn't ruin anyone's wedding....we can still have fun and capture lots of special moments come rain or sunshine.
Describe how you got into photography.
I brought a 'happy snapper' camera and got hooked from there on. I have developed my style over the years with numerous training workshops include the Nikon School of Excellence and training with Ross Harvey who is considered one of the world's top wedding photographers.
