Hi, I'm Matthew, a wedding photographer based near Tring on the Hertfordshire - Buckinghamshire border. My approach to capturing weddings is friendly and relaxed - I’m not the type of photographer that bosses people around or tries to direct the day. Instead, I blend in with your guests and capture the day as it unfolds, creating images full of intimate moments, honesty and soul. From the photography on the day through to the editing suite, I always try to produce something in my work that is not influenced by latest trends but which has an intrinsic and timeless value; that is - a consistent and beautiful set of images of your day that are heartfelt, genuine, and truly reflect you, your family and friends, the details, and the little moments that make your wedding day one-of-a-kind. I am available to travel throughout the UK, and also undertake a small number of overseas weddings each year.
Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Matthew
There are many different wedding photography styles out there and it can be a bit of an over-whelming process finding a photographer to capture your day. But my advice to couples is to simply find a style that you love, that you connect with, that you feel captures the joy and emotion of the day in their images. You won't regret investing in great photography I promise! If you love what you see here and on my website, I would love to hear from - wherever you are based :)

What is your most memorable wedding?
I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding at the Tower of London. From the bride getting ready at Anne Boleyn's house, the procession of the bride and groom by the Yeoman Guards (Beefeaters) through the on-looking tourists, and our own private photoshoot in the grounds when the Tower closed for the day - made it a rather memorable day!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
joyful, honest, modern, beautiful, timeless
What about your business are you most proud of?
The rapport I build with my couples. I want to give you an fantastic experience from start to finish!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Wedding styling has changed a lot the past few years. Couples are re-inventing wedding styling and finding news ways to do almost everything. Pinterest is full of real weddings and real weddings who have followed their ideas and personalised the day exactly how they want. So my advice is along those lines - make the day personal to you, you don't have to be dictated by old traditions or latest trends.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
We live in the UK. It often rains, and I have photographed many weddings where is has rained all day or for part of the day. It's hard not to get a little obsessed with the weather in this country, particularly when your wedding day approaches! But rest assured, it will not dampen your day but add to the memory of it. Your family and friends are their to celebrate you as a couple and nothing will change that. Bring some umbrellas (and wellies if you want!) and we'll make the most of it, or we'll create some beautiful portraits indoors instead. Either way, I'll worry about the photography and you can get on with having the best day of your lives :)
