What about your business are you most proud of?
The feedback, the emotion and lovely thank you's. The service I offer and the person I have become after being able to share the most precious days with my clients. And the fact my passion for photography only gets deeper.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do You. Do it your way. Not how you think it's supposed to be done. Be Unique, push the boundaries and celebrate exactly how you always imagined.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
OOOH too many to think of just one! I love anything to do with grandparents. Making them feel special and a big part of the day!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to have a little chat over the phone, or FaceTime. Then if they wish to meet for a coffee and see my USB sample products along with some albums I arrange a no obligation relaxed meeting local to us all.
I leave it with the couple and allow them to get back to me in their own time. If they would like to go ahead and book, I simply take some details down, email them over a deposit payment invoice. Once that's paid, a confirmation of booking will be sent. I like to keep in contact with all my clients so they have my personal mobile number to arrange their FREE pre wedding photoshoot with me at a suitable date and time.
I will always call the clients a week or so before the wedding to go over all the details again so we are all set for the big day!
I always contact my clients after the wedding with a feedback form and send them over their previews!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Shots of them by themselves. Bring a glass of fizz and lets go off together and relax for a little time for those rare intimate moments during a wedding day.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Oooh good question! Ive stood on top of a roof building before, and also in a lake...does that count?
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
That we go with it and create some magic! Rain can be just as incredibly beautiful as golden hour!
Describe how you got into photography.
Ive always had an eye for photography, my Mother dabbled in it for a while. My incredibly supportive Husband just surprised me with my first camera all those years ago and I've never looked back!
